Being greeted at 7.30am to the doors of Grand Central, by the morning paper man, certainly freshens you up for the day.
He bellows down the streets, shouting;
"GGUUURRRDDD MMMOOORRRNNNNIIINNNGG, GET YOUR PAPERS"
Don't get too close, if you haven't had your first cup of 'cwwafffee', as you may be making a trip to the Doctors, instead of work for some new ear drums!

Day 143 - Times Square from 30 Floors Up
I attended an event tonight at the Thomson Reuters building in Times Square.
Not only was it a great event but we were 30 floors up and had a panoramic view of Times Square.
When you see iconic areas of NY from this angle, it really does make you realise what an amazing place this is. I consider myself extremely lucky!

Day 142 - Gents
As I like my luscious locks to be kept in supreme order, I had a good search around for a good barbers. After evaluating and turning down many on the Upper East Side, I settled on Gents (80th and Lex).
Their boutique style shop with its vintage decor has a cosy feel to it. That cosy in fact that one bloke, that was in there at the same time as me, had fallen asleep in the chair. Now that's trusting!

Day 141 - Reading Club
Being strapped to my books is not what I would describe as the most perfect of Sunday's.
I apologise for the dullness of this particular blog post. It has consumed my whole day, meaning that no expeditions have taken place.
Day 140 - NYC Graffiti
I wonder if the person that parked their truck, half a block away from the Graffiti on these garage doors, is trying to make a point? Or maybe its the other way round?
Day 139 - Buffalo Chicken Wrap
Out of all the foods I've tried in New York, the Buffalo Chicken Wrap is the one that I will be bringing back with me.
I recognise that it is not that adventurous, however, the breaded chicken, with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber and carrots in a spinach wrap is just too good to leave with the Americans! Especially when it has spicy/tangy Buffalo sauce drizzled all over it. Mmm.
I can predict a future blog post being about how I explain to customs that I want to bring fifty bottles of buffalo sauce back with me to the UK.
