Day 28 - My First Day at School

Yesterday was a day of firsts. It started off with my first day at school and of course I will be served fresh pastries and fruit on each Saturday class!

Later on I went to Randall's Island to watch a friend play fuzzball under Triborough Bridge.

I finished the day off by sampling what the Lower East Side taverns had to offer. Karaoke bars were a plenty! I've never been to one but would highly recommend if you want to sing Mr. Brightside at the top of your lungs!

Day 27 - Insomnia Cookies

When you are a natural fat boy like myself, you tend to gravitate towards places like Insomnia Cookies. They deliver till 3am, they're in no way cheap but they are very, very good! M&M's my favourite (so far!)

Day 26 - Another Office. Another, Another View.

I will never get tired of posting this type of picture, as I hope that you will not get tired of viewing these types of pictures...

Day 25 - Baby Shower

I went to my first ever baby shower today. My initial thoughts were that we would hand over some pampers and a dummy! Oh no. This is America. They embrace the baby showering.

There was a nappy mountain, cupcakes with dummy's on top and little booties scattered everywhere. I did however lack relevant subject knowledge to embrace in a networking session,
so instead did what I am very bad at. Take pictures.

Day 24th - 9/11

One World Trade Centre epitomises prowess and spirit as it stands tall over New York city.

This could not be any more of a reminder of the atrocities that happened on 9/11. However, it also shows how much spirit this community has.

Day 23 - Memorabilia be gathering

Not much to report on the western front, just a long day at work and a house re-org! Slowly building up my stock pile of trinkets from my travels though...

Day 22 - Harvard

Day two of the Boston road trip took me to Harvard University. The first place I went to was a restaurant (standard procedure) for breakfast. You can tell that this is one of the best universities in the world, when they can come up with something as genius as Breakfast on a flat bread! As with the day before, below average photography will guide you through the day's events...
One of the Harvard residencies plus 'cool' student on window ledge.

John Harvard and his lucky left foot.

Night of the Museum has made me wish for these places to come alive!

Horrendous neck ache!
Just hanging around...
Dentures required Sir?
