Day 78 - Still no power

After training for months on end and investing a lot of money and effort into commuting to NYC for the marathon, you would feel for the runners that found out it was cancelled on the eleventh hour, due to the reprocutions of Hurricane Sandy.

However, after walking through the entrance of Grand Central terminal and witnessing an abundance of people using the sockets to charge their phones and laptops to let their loved ones know that they are ok, after having no power, running water or heat for over a week, it seemed to make more sense.

To the runners who made their way over to Staten Island to help one of the hardest hit communities with the relief efforts shows that the day was not a-loss. Top Dollar!
